女性を「子供を産む機械」呼ばわりする感性
人間を、～マシンなどと機械に例えるときがある。
例えば、イチローを安打製造機なんていう感じですね。で、この表現の中には、機械は、血も涙もない、とにかく、感情なく、あるタスクを処理し続ける...というネガティブなニュアンスがあったりする。
かく言う私めも、以前予算達成マシンなどと、言われているということを、人伝てにお聞きして、非常に傷ついたことがある。「ぼ、ぼくだって、赤い血が流れている人間なんだ。おけらだって、カエルだって、ツボカビ菌だって、みんな、みんな生きているんだ。千の風になって...」と、悲しみの余り叫んだものだ。
で、柳沢発言「女性は子どもを産む機械、装置の数はきまっているから、あとは1人頭で頑張ってもらうしかない」
まず、「がんばって子供を産め」というのが少子化対策か？ 子供を産むのは、各女性の個人的幸福についての重要な決断である。問題の核心は、子供を作ることに躊躇の気持ちを引き起こす社会的環境である。 まず、この発言の本来の趣旨そのものにも、インテリジェンスを疑ってしまう。
次に、上述の例にあるように、人間をマシンに例えるときは、何らかの蔑視,偏見、差別などの歪曲した感情が含まれている。後で謝罪しているらしいが、こういう発言をしてしまう感性に、厚生労働大臣に相応しい人物か？という議論以前の、健全な社会人か？という強い疑念を感じる。
つまり、少子化問題の核心についての理解を欠き、生命の誕生、成長、健康などを取り扱うには、品性が欠けている...と断定してもいいのではないか？
単なる言い間違いとか、そういうレベルではないだろう？女性を子供を産む機械呼ばわりする感性は。
婆さんを頂点とする、ソリッドな女系家族で育った俺からすると、「命知らず」としか思えない不穏当な発言だ。
