先月、忌野清志郎が喉頭がんであることを公にした。
忌野清志郎の曲は、ここ数十年間聴いてきたし、最近では1年に1回、鎌倉芸術館でコンサートをするので、必ず観にいっている。
「新しいブルースを楽しむような気持ちで治療に専念できればと思います。またいつか会いましょう。夢を忘れずに！」…彼のコメント。
声帯切除ということも可能性としてはあるらしい。
本当にやるせない。
何十年も、何も変わらない。同じように唄い、同じように跳び、同じようにオドケテみせる。中学生のような歌詞、心の深いところにズンと響くあの声。
ブルースは、黒人が日々の幸せや憂鬱、悲しみ～ＢＬＵＥを唄ったことが起源。確かに、現状は彼にとって「新しいブルース」なのかもしれない。生き方がすでに、Ｒ＆Ｂってことか？
もう一度、彼のコンサートに行ける事を信じて待とう。夢を忘れずに。
